Morrison 7/30

Well the weather held out for us once again...a little rain, but that's ok. As always a fun night out, some out for their first dive as a newly certified divers and a few starting out on their open water test dives.

Thanks to the recent transport of the grate, doing skills with new students makes it a lot easier as not having to stand on the bottom and stir up the silt. Thanks to those that helped to make this happen.

Tobermory charters

The charters are fully booked...meet at 5:30pm at G&S Watersports on Saturday and 8:30am on Sunday. $50. per head including tax approximately based on 12 people.

Shelswell Park

Another successful dive, great weather and a better visibility. It was fun to go somewhere different, though the depth was recorded between 24 and 38 feet. Not much to see, but on the surface we had some wild life appearances - ducks and a beaver (we think).

Congratulations to those who finished up their test dives last night, and thanks to those who came out for fun and to help.

Morrison

Great day! The weather was sunny though a bit breezy. Got a few more students out. The vis was poor unfortunately and alas another float was lost...sorry A.R.

Don't forget next week we are headed to Oro Line 7 to Shelswell Park. Please join us!

Thanks again to all those that came out last night.

Wednesday dive-July 2

The weather they were calling for held off, so that was good....not a bad turn out, but visiblility still low, a little better than last week. We're heading to Centennial Beach again next week, hopefully to complete a few more open water test dives and as always a fun night out.

Don't forget July 16 instead of the Barrie waterfront, we are heading to Shelswell Park in Oro, for a change in scenery.
We lost another float last night, not like a few weeks ago however, when not only one but two were retrieved, by a special member of Tim's Diving Supplies. Happy Birthday, too!
